You might think that skating is just for skaters, hipsters and those who love road rash. But at Cellular, we say not so. Even the ad agency that made our website skates. That’s right, those pudgy suits that sit behind computers and come up with jingles all day are now taking regular skate breaks.

See, a while back some of them came in and looked at our wall of longboards and said (slightly embarassing) things like, “That one looks pretty” and, “Ohh, I like those green wheels.” A few minutes later, they were walking out with longboards. Now, they keep sending us horrible pictures like this:What is wrong with this person?

Seriously – will someone tell me what’s going on here?  Does that guy think he’s on a freaking luge?  And if so – what kind of idiot luger puts his feat up in the air like that?   But that’s not the end of it, they also no apparently fancy themselves iPhone videographers:

Seriously, who would want to look at the picture this guy's taking?

I can only imagine the title of this film would be “Idiot skater slowly rolls down parking lot.”  Expect it on our store shelves never.

And finally, just when you thought it couldn’t get any worse, they sent us this eyeball-meltingly-awful image:

Words cannot describe this awfulness...

There are no words.

They claim they’ve even been “hassled by the man” while skating in a nearby parking lot, though I suspect that had more to do with the cross-dressing than the actual skating.

Ok – despite the fact that this particular agency is full of incompetent skaters – my original point still stands.  Even if you are 100% athletically impotent, and perhaps outside of the typical “skater” demographic, you can still have a good time on one of our longboards.

So, the Cellular Skate team got together and whipped up this promo. Promo for what you ask? A promo for their upcoming much-longer video project.

Since this teaser alone should be enough to melt your face off – I tremble to think of the effect that the actual feature-length product will have on its viewers.
